Submissions & Guidelines

Helen Day Art Center exhibits artists working in all media. In support of our larger mission at Helen Day we are interested in providing space to emerging artists who do not currently have gallery representation. As a regional art center we are interested in artists both within Vermont and throughout the surrounding region.

Although we are not actively seeking new artists for the Fall 2009 — Summer 2010 season at this time, please feel free to submit for Fall 2010 and beyond. All work is reviewed.
Submissions should include the following:
◆    Cover letter
◆    Artist statement or resume
◆    CD with no more than 20 images (hi resolution jpeg images no smaller than 1050 x 1050 pixels)
◆    Self-addressed stamped envelope with adequate pre-paid postage for return of CD and submission information.

Please note that the Center will not return CD's without a return envelope. You are also welcome to include reviews, announcements, and other written materials which discuss your work.

Please put Artist Submission & your name in the subject line of your email. When emailing images please send no more than (5) images. If we are interested in the work we will contact you for a disc of your work. After we have had the opportunity to review your work, we will either return your materials or contact you to arrange a studio visit.
